24 Has Turned Me Into Susie Homemaker

Who would have that that getting older would prompt me to be more adventurous in the kitchen. I was craving something sweet with Bananas so I got on pinterest and looked around. I stumbled upon lots of good chocolate banana muffins. There were so many great recipes, but eventually I got mine HERE and then tweaked it a little bit.

Ingridients

1 cup rolled oats
1 cup milk
2 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
5 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp of pumpkin
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 egg
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 overripe bananas mashed
1/2 cup chocolate chips

I wanted to add a little of a drizzle sauce so I mixed in some oats, butter, vanilla extract and cinnamon, and pumpkin and set it aside.

Here are the Directions:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease 12 muffin cups. I mashed up my bananas, and then added the milk, and eggs.

Stir in  flour, rolled oats, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon,  and chocolate chips together in a bowl.

I put them in, then added the drizzle sauce. ( note, it did not come out as a sauce, but the oats mixed with cinnamon, pumpkin, and vanilla gave it a little something extra. )

Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes or you can insert a toothpick and once it comes out clean then it's ready.

They didn't come out all pretty like I wanted them to, but they were Delish!

  1. Those look amazing! I made some cookies with banana's last night. It's 3 banana's, rolled oats, & chocolate chips. They're so good I love them! The boyfriend tried them but he doesn't like bananas. I hope your having a great Tuesday.
