Five on Friday

1. This is the best thing I have seen ALL week! Love this version, ha! 

2. So excited to start celebrating Hilary's engagement this weekend! Cannot wait for all her upcoming wedding festivities and her wedding in October!

3. my obsession with Sprouts is still happening. You can read all about it HERE. My lunch for the remainder of this week has been provided by them, I swear they might stay in business simply because of me. 

4. Summertime is finally here, as if the temperatures didn't let us know weeks ago. 

 

5. TWO more weeks until our mini trip to Chicago and Milwaukee, I NEED for it to come sooner. 

A new little gem in town

One of the many perks of my job is we get to learn about all the happenings around the area and get a chance to check them out first hand. 

We have a new Farmer's market opening up in town and last night I got to enjoy the preview party before their grand opening today. I walked in there last night and was so impressed, everything looked so fresh and it tasted amazing! It is safe to say I will be making weekly visits to Sprouts.

I am obsessed with these Blueberry Yogurt pretzels, y'all don't even know!

Father's Day Weekend

Happy Monday! 

On Friday decided to go to the Braves game and it just so happened to be the Army's 239th Birthday, fun night, and Braves won! 

Loved spending time with old Georgia Southern Friends 

These guys were too funny, danced the whole time to get on the screen, and they finally did! HA. 

Spent Father's day with dad watching the World Cup. I think this was one of dad's favorite father's days yet.

Five on Friday + Impulse Haircut

Happy Friday! 

1. Those that follow me on INSTA know that I decided to randomly chop all of my hair last night, and I don't regret it for one second.  I got to sleep in an extra 30 minutes this morning, WIN!

2. SUITS came back on Wednesday night. Who else is obsessed with that show and Harvey? Love him! 

3. Madison is starting to finally fit into all those big bows I got her when she was born, Hello 5 months! How cute is she?! I can't even. 

4. with the 4th coming up, I am in need of a cute Maxi dress to wear while in Chicago, and wanting it to be festive, of course! 

5. Our Chicago/ Milwaukee trip is coming up in a couple of weeks and I have TOO much to do before then! But I am SO excited to head up North for a weekend to see family and explore the city. 

Vegas Update

Happy Hump Day! If you've read along this blog of mine, you know my upcoming trip to Vegas has been booked and Monday night we officially booked our flight and hotel. We are staying at Bally's. I spent a good amount of my day just looking at their website and picturing myself at their pool. August where are you? 

Anyone been to Vegas before? Any recommendations of places I MUST do?

Weekend

I absolutely love it when I have a weekend planned out and plans change and it ends up being an even better weekend. I was totally supposed to go to the Atlanta Food & Wine Festival, but last minute it got cancelled. As bummed as I am that I couldn't make it, I am so looking forward to going next year. 

This turned into a relaxing weekend where I got to spend time with the family, did some shopping and was able to squeeze in some workouts this weekend. 

I think I hit the jackpot at Old Navy and New York & Company this weekend. Old Navy had their active wear 40% off! I was in total need of new workout gear and this was perfect. I got their Compression Capris for $15! I remember Liz writing about them a while back and when I tried them on, she was so right! They feel amazing! New York & Co also had a good Sale happening, but then again when don't they? I bought their Split Neck Interlock Dress in black a couple of weeks back and loved it some much that I went back and bought 2 more in different colors, ha! 

Also this weekend I tried out T25 and OH MY GOODNESS I am obsessed! It kicked my but in yes, 25 minutes! I had muscles hurting that I didn't even know existed and it was all done in less than half an hour. This is PERFECT for when I really don't feel like going to the gym and need to get a quick workout in. Please excuse the hot mess picture of me below!
