Real World Struggles

Hey y'all!

So I mentioned before that I just started my new job and have I mentioned how much I love it. today I got paid (holla), but to my disappointment I forgot all about taxes!

Finally getting my first big girl job I didn't realize how much they would tax me. And can I just say this is one of those times where being an adult in the real world kind of sucks. Can't I go back to my college days where I worked at the school store and got taxed like a dollar or two?! Ha!
Now more than ever when I see people using their food stamps but they have a nicer phone than me I will be hella pissed.

Just sayin'

There really was no point to this post I just wanted to rant about my first real world being an adult struggle.

Summer Bucketlist

So I have a habit of making lists, a lot of them. So why would a summer bucket list be an exemption :)

Go to Skyzone

 Watch the Sunrise/Sunset at the Beach

Visit Charleston, SC

Actually enjoy my 4th of July instead of working :/

Make some of the crafs i've pinned

Try out new Restaurants Downtown

Spend a whole day being lazy and having a movie marathon

Read as many books as possible

Summer Concerts

Host some parties

Get lost somewhere beautiful

Climb Stone Mountain early enough to catch the sunrise

Spend the day in Virgina Highlands picking out my future house :)

Go Tubing

Go to the Farmers Market

Well here is my list....for now I know this will grow within the next few days, ha!

Instagram Weekly Recap

Hey Y'all! So of course I didn't catch Instagram Recap on Saturday (typical) so here we go! 

For some reason I am in love with this quote and this was my Motivational Monday one!

After every weekend, we send out personal thank you cards to our brides that we worked with. I love that we do this, adds such a personal touch to it. 

Never have I ever had such a small drink from Starbucks before, until now. It was gone in two sips, haha.

Went to Griffin to visit my college roommate and they have this dine in CFA where you sit down and order your food like at a restaurant. I was AMAZED. 

We hit up the town to get to know the locals!

On the way back home, oh Atlanta how I love you. 

Saw this in a recent issue of cosmo and it couldn't be more appropriate to my life.

Friday Five

As the week is coming to an end, here is what I've been obseesed with!

This shampooand conditioner set is pure bliss. My hair feels AMAZING afterwards.

My hair started to feel damaged with all the products i've used over the years but this heat protection spray has helped a ton. Within a week my hair is starting to feel healthier.

Having thick hair I usually don't like straightening it in the summer time, but this kerathin spray leaves my hair straight for a while!

Just got these Jessica Simps on monday and I am OBSESSED. They are super comfortable too!

Most of the time I do my own nails and sinful colors has always worked best for me. They have a new summer line out and I stocked up!

Letting Go

I knew I would be terrible at keeping up with blogging everyday. But today is one I penciled in my calendar just to do it. Thursday May 30th:

Letting Go 

I have the hardest time sometimes coming to terms with this. It seems so simple to just let little things that seem to bother you go. Maybe because I am the type of person who will go out of their way to help out a friend in need, or when I say I will do something I do it. Learning to let go of the people who keep disappointing me has proven to be a challenge but a challenge that I am finally starting to accept.
Staying disappointing only puts me in a worse mood than before. So here I am trying really hard to to let go of things that only bring me down in the end. In the end this could be letting go of a friendship, letting go of someone or something that I know isn't good for me, or even something simple as letting go of a memory I know I can never get back.
