TBT: Movie Edition

Linking up for one of my favorites. TBT! This week i'm totally taking it back to all the movies back in my teen days that I would totally go home right now and watch all over again!

 Was I the only one who was terrified to eat a jawbreaker after this movie?

I can go on and on with this list, but i'm gonna stop right there. 

You know you're growing up when...

 With my Birthday coming up next week ( the BIG 23) I've realized a few things about myself...like i'm becoming an adult. ( when did this happen?).

I've made a list of things that are making me realize and accept i'm no longer a teen and growing up isn't bad as I expected it to be.

• My first thought when I get paid isn't to go spend it, but rather how to save money 
• Going to bed at 9 is totally acceptable some nights( even weekends)
• Shopping at forever 21 is not on my list anymore ( Hello J. Crew and New york & Co) 
• I've accepted all the engagements showing up on your newsfeed and I'm actually happy for some of them
• I judge those girls I used to be when going out 
• I understand all those underline meanings behind some of my favorite shows like Friends, HA
• My email is full of coups and I actually take advantage of it 
• Sometimes my favorite thing to do is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING
• My fridge is now stocked with food ( healthy food at that) and not alcohol 
• Naps have become one of my favorite things 
• Eating drunk food past midnight gives me the worst stomach aches in the morning 
• It's ok to change and become the person you were meant to be. 

Well there's my I'm getting old list and you know what, I don't hate it. And I'm sure as the years pass I will a TON more to add. :)

Weekend Shenans

Happy Tueday Y'all!

How sad is it to hear about Corey Monteith?  Let me say that I am usually not the type of person who gets attached to celebrity gossip like that but I LOVED Glee. It was one of those shows that I thought was super corny when I first heard about it but then they sang Don't Stop Believing and I was hooked!
And yes I know that I have never met him and never knew him on a personal level but I was one of those girls who fell in love with his character and of course my heart breaks for Lea Michelle and his friends and family. So I am going to leave it at that and say as terrible and heartbreaking as it is no high is worth losing your life over.

BUT now off to more fun things that happened. :) 

Saturday we went to the Atlanta Food Festival and oh my gah y'all, I was in heaven! It was food trucks galore! So much tasty food, it was scrumptious! They also had tons of local vendors lined up selling everything from coasters to soap. It was pretty neat!

NOW onto the best part of my weekend LUKE Bryan! Oh my, Luke never disappoints. Neither did Fla/Ga and Thompson Square. Even though it poured on us, we rained it out and kept going. Luke definitely proved why he was Entertainer of the Year, he just kept going! I'm already looking into when he's coming back. 

Sorry for a Tueasday update on my weekend Shenanigans, I spent all day yesterday after work catching up on my sleep. ( eek I sound old)

 So excited for this! Food trucks are popping up everywhere. I'm such a foodie and this food festival happening tomorrow in Piedmont is what's getting me through today!

Got these while I was in Destin at the Nike outlet and oh my gahh they are so comfortable on my feet when I'm working out! LOVE them!

 Just recently became obsessed with this show and season 3 starts next week! AHH  I cannot wait! I need Harvey back in my life!

 

My cousin and her boyfriend are expecting and I was asked to be the baby's godmother! We don't know the sex of the baby yet but you already know i'm purchasing this onesie for this sweet baby that I am going to spoil rotten!

 Those are my 5 faves for the week. I'm off to start my weekend. Hope y'all have a good one too!

Luke Bryan TBT Edition

In honor of TBT I'm gonna take yall back to all my previous Luke Bryan concerts being that its only appropriate since I'm seeing him Sunday! :) 

 

Not gonna lie this was the first year I was going to see him, made it there last 30 minutes of the concert. Oh GSU, you totally won that semester. 

Made it there. 

I kept it classy back then with my pregaming days, obvi. 

Good Lord! 

Y'all I am beyond excited to go see him AGAIN! He is one of those artists I'm never going to get tired of watching. 

I'm out to go crash his party. See some of y'all there!

Back from the beach :)

I had the best time at the beach! So relaxing! Even though there was a monsoon and we saw a water spout starting to form towards the end of the trip, we still had a great time! Regardless of the weather, I was so glad to be able to spend a whole week with the girls. We got a good amount of wedding planning done for Ashley too! The music selection at the reception will be the best, HA!  These picture were taken with phone, sorry is not the best quality. Here's a recap of my week at the beach!
